Slow like time

Patiently waiting to interact with the world around it

Cool and calm like a mothers kiss

Flowing like the thoughts in my head

A rush like the emotions in my heart

It has no beginning or end

It’s story has too many chapters

Which hold the book we call the world together

It may come from a Spring , A river, and

Even the heavens above

One body keeping everyone and everything in motion

Like bodies some parts may get polluted

Riddled with the toxins of our negligence

We don’t have time to dwell on any of it

We should’ve stayed committed and worked out a plan

We got responsibilities now

A responsibility to take care of Mother Earth

She gave her human children the best life she could

Hopefully we can preserve her time with us

At any moment it could be over

And when the body of water to her lifeline

Stops moving that is when

Everything and I mean everything

Will cease to exist.
