Entitled "Mini Casinos & Clubs"

I remember going to casinos and clubs before I was the legal age
Card tables await me the smell of money in the air
What will my pride allow me to lose tonight?
Hopefully not my mind
Faded but the night just got started
Shoutout to prepubescent pre gaming
The plastic packets of Capri Sun is my five o’clock shadow
I hop out the car
My bodyguard protects me from oncoming traffic
I’m rocking my best outfit
Spider-Man glasses on
And don’t forget the jean shorts to match
And don’t get me started on the G-Shock
As I enter I am greeted by the club owner
Now it’s time for the games to begin
The whole crew hyped
The Uno cards are shuffled and dealt
Turn after turn cockiness grows like wildfire
I can feel an argument coming on
I wonder which one of us won’t get the next invite
I am distracted by this girl in her Fuchsia pink power puff shirt
I find out what she’s sipping on
Motioning the bartender to bring me a can
As I make my move my chest becomes tight
The conversation flows just like the drinks around us
I am slowly playing the movie montage of our future in my young mind
Suddenly she has to go
She is ushered out of the door
The kerosene flames of my young incense heart engulfs My Esophagus
I guess I gotta let it burn
What’s this?
She darts back to give me a goodbye kiss on the cheek
“You can come over to my house anytime“
Hopefully I don’t have to call
8701 Is the theme music to our puppy love
Before I leave the casino/club
I dap up the Homies
With a grin imprinted on my face
You would’ve thought I swallowed a smiley face fry
I’m gonna feel like the man walking in school tomorrow
As I finish this poem
I remember what those moments were like
What a Time to be alive
