Introverted

I stay quiet

Don’t really trust anyone

I like silence even around my loved ones

What’s the point of healing

When they’re still pain

And if I start to speak up with the world care what I say

I stay quiet

To protect myself from feeling

Sometimes it doesn’t work

And my hearts a burning building

But you can’t see the smoke

I just continue living
