The metal doors open and the staring begins
Everyone and I mean everyone is thinking it no one dare utter a word
I know what I am I know how they see me but I have always Saw more in myself
Dancing circles around the issue while
inside this metal box suspended briefly in
the air Like our solar Plexus just got hit
don’t forget they were Grandfathered into superiority And spoonfed the Gerber baby food Called racism in infancy
So when they look at me, they are not looking at me because they are intimidated by the power that my body has within its self
To know that I am free from the shackles of my ancestors is something they cannot comprehend
In spite of it all like this metal box elevator
I rise
I am lifted toward my higher calling
I throw stones at their words
I put faith in my God, The only God they know is a piece of paper with Benjamin‘s name on it
I am not only here to play the game but to settle the score
Quite frankly I never give a fuck about a rulebook
As the metal box lowers The waging war within me settled itself
I am ready for whatever they throw at me
I was born with a bullet bullet proof vest
Hopefully I survive everything like 50
this is an amazing piece! keep up the good work.
