I’m mesmerized by the rhythm that echoes when you move

the shimmer of your wings puts a spell on me

I can’t believe you trust me oh winged

creature

The world sees me as nothing more than a monster

In the forest is our escape everything stands still even my consciousness

Holding onto you is gift and a curse

Soon you will leave me to brave the world alone

Oh winged creature take it easy on my heart

Why do I have this addiction the taste of sin thickens air

the thrill of the chase sends me spiraling in to oblivion

Oh winged creatures I wish to be like you

Alive and so care free unfortunately this game is only fare for one of us

I get drunk off fantasy but closing time is near

Reality settles in my soul eats me to the core

You get tired and fly away however this time I know you will be gone forever

I’m left more shattered then I was found

Beauty has no place for an ugly duckling
