Watching the beautiful animals

Visit the Evergreen Forest

It’s trees so bright and full of life

It’s beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder

Every animal that I watch come and go

Leaves with more than they arrived with

The forest loves attention so it doesn’t mind

A beautiful doe visits the evergreen

Eventually never wanting to leave

She makes the forest her home

Watching them interact daily from my porch

Living in beautiful serenity

One day the doe grew restless

The forest tried everything to make her stay

All of its efforts was to no avail

As time went on

The forest lost its bright green color

Everything reduced to a dreary brown

The forest welcomed other animals

Gnatcatcher , Red-flanked Bluetail

and even Tanagers

Nothing was able to give the forest life

Quite like the doe

There is no movement in the forest anymore

No desire to forge a special bond with any animal

Sometimes I visit the forest

And reminisce about the times we both saw better days

As I wake up

In my room

I realize I need to stop taking psychedelics

They are starting to mess with my head
