Entitled "Through Their Eyes"

No words come to mind

My thoughts begin to race

A tear falls from my face

As a result of traumatic memories I can’t erase

He wishes to comfort me

but at least his listening ears can sympathize with the pain I face

this roller coaster ride has loops and turns

I know no matter what burns down around me he will always be there in the end

I have his back and he has mine

A friendship that stands the test of time

he prays for me everyday

wishes to be there every night

in spite of the darkness he exudes so much light. As I take the time to build myself back up it is clear to see he always knew I would never give up. A refocused mind and an endless grind he was happy to finally see the new glow in my shine
